The actresses realized the connection they shared during Monday’s episode ofBroad Ideas with Rachel Bilson & Olivia Allen, as Patridge, 38, and Bilson, 42, shared their experiences in greater depth than ever before.

The reality star had “just got back from Australia. I co-hosted the VMAs or something out there. So everything was still packed, got home, changed and then I went to the party and came home and I was like, ‘Am I losing my mind?’ My suitcase is gone, my laptop, everything is off my bed. Like, what is going on?”
“And then I went in my closet and I called my sister and I was like, ‘If I open my jewelry box and stuff is gone, someone is in my house,’” she continued. “And I opened it, everything was gone. And so that’s when I locked myself in [the closet], ‘cause I didn’t know if they were still in the house.”
She was “afraid to get off the phone, so I had my brother-in-law call 911 while I was on speaker,” she told Bilson. Ultimately, Patridge was able to help identify the perpetrators because she had cameras on her property that caught the faces of Nick Prugo and Rachel Lee.
Patridge recalled that her “back door was open” as she detailed how Prugo and Lee got in, noting that they pair also left with “suitcases of stuff.”
“I have a gate and no one can get through there but I guess the electricity or something went off and on.”

Patridge and Bilson both said that they got “nothing” returned to them after falling victim to the Bling Ring.
“I didn’t even get money back. Nothing for anything,” Partridge said. “They took stuff from my aunt, like vintage Chanel watches and rings.”
Bilson said added, “That’s the part that’s like, you guys! You were kids, but it was so f—ed up.”
After finding out the thieves were “two young kids, it took a lot of the anxiety off,” Patridge admitted.

Regardless, though, both she andThe O.C.star agreed on the “invasiveness” of the robberies. “I remember I went and stayed with my mom in Orange County for a while. I was like, I don’t wanna be in that house,” Partridge said.
“I was out of town when it happened to me,” the podcast co-host recalled. “They went into my house five different times. I guess my door — like my back door — was unlocked.”
Like Patridge, “clothes and shoes and bags and jewelry” were taken from Bilson’s home, though it was her mom who ultimately noticed it.
“And my mom’s first engagement ring was taken,” Bilson said. “You know, that stuff is like… C’mon you guys…. Just give me the sentimental [stuff]. My mom still talks about it."
Bilson also talked to Patridge about her 2022 interview with two of the members of the Bling Ring, including that Lee, who was one of the thieves who stole fromThe Hills: New Beginningsstar, said of her house: “‘I got so comfortable, I pooped in her bathroom.’ ”
“I was like, ‘That’s almost the most offensive part,’” Bilson said of the gross revelation about her former home.
