“I’m very proud of the wedding because we didn’t have a wedding planner,” Palvin says. “It was just my sister and me doing everything. It was everything I wanted and more.”
Palvin, who spoke with PEOPLE about her partnership withBumble and Bumble, also opened up about her favorite memories from her Hungary wedding, including being able to show some of her loved ones where she grew up for the first time.
“The biggest part was that I finally got to show Hungary and where I grew up to my American friends, and now the American side of my family — my father-in-law and mother-in-law and my brother-in-law and everyone,” Palvin says. “So that was obviously the best part, to show them my tradition.”
“And the best part was to see how easily my part of the family and my American friends just got along,” she adds. “A lot of people don’t speak English in my family, but somehow everyone was able to communicate. And it was just such a beautiful thing to see.”
