As an institute full of scientist , you might think CERN was good at keeping record . But it ’s bechance upon a stash of archived image that seem to make no sense whatsoever — and it wants you to help it sour out what they show .
The European scientists recently set about digitizing ream of images — roughly 120,000 — hire between 1955 and 1985 . But they substantiate that many of the prototype had never been captionaded and now , decades by and by , they ’re hard to interepret .
