Did the newly elected Speaker of the House “dog walk”President Donald Trumpintotemporarily ending the government shut down?Cardi Bseems to think so.
The “Bodak Yellow” rapper, 26, responded to Dr. Eugene Gu’s tweet saying that “basically,Nancy Pelosidog walked Trump.”
“Basically,” she responded, echoing his sentiment.
The line is a reference toCardi B‘s recent threat to conservativeFOX Nationhost Tomi Lahren. The pair engaged in a war of wordslast week after Cardi B slammed President Trump forrefusing to end the federal government shutdownover his controversial border wall.
“Looks like @iamcardib is the latest genius political mind to endorse the Democrats. HA! Keep it up, guys!” Lahren, also 26,wroteon Wednesday, shortly after Cardi criticized Trump for calling some federal employees back to work without being paid in an expletive-filled Instagram rant.

Lahren went on toinsult Cardi’s intelligence, writing, “I’m sure you would. Still doesn’t make your political rambling any less moronic.”
“You’re so blinded with racismthat you don’t even realize the decisions the president you root for is destroying the country you claim to love so much,” Cardi wrote back in a fiery response. “You are a perfect example on no matter how educated or smart you think you are you still a SHEEP!”
Lahren addressed the feud on her show on Wednesday.
“To put it pretty simply, I saw that video that she had posted and I implied that maybeCardi Bisn’t the person we should be taking our political advice from. It took her a few days, but she responded and instead of arguing about the merits of her political argument, she said that she was going to ‘dog walk’ me,” Lahren, also 26, said. “And viewers can look up on Urban Dictionary what ‘dog walking’ someone means but to put it simply, it’s to severely beat somebody up. So we go from a political disagreement to I want to hurt you.”
With the president’s assent, both houses of Congress are expected to imminently pass spending bills and Trump said the measures would guarantee backpay for affected workers.
After five weeks, the president’s reversal amounted to a concession to the Democrats’ stated position throughout: End the shutdown, which affects nine federal agencies and some 800,000 employees, while continuing to negotiate about the specific issue of border security.
Nancy Pelosi, the House speaker, has said Trump’s insistence on a wall with Mexico amounted to “holding Americans hostage.” She called such a wall “immoral” and “ineffective.”
