In an exclusive chat with PEOPLE, the 34-year-old actress shared her vision behind recreating the Hundred Acre Wood in her backyard.

To mark Izzy’s milestone birthday, the parents went all out with elaborate decorations and sweets to bring one of the most beloved pieces of children’s literature to life, including buying a “hunny” beehive cake with all the characters fromWinnie-the-Poohon it fromSinger Sister Sweets.
Guests also enjoyed organic tomato soup, strawberry salad, veggie wraps, cucumber lemonade and an additional, un-frosted cake adorned with pink roses and bees.
The family dressed to the nines for the occasion, with Romano in a long blue dress and loose curls and her husband in a navy thermal and corduroys.

Izzy appeared to have the time of her life playing withWinnie-the-Poohstickers, while wearing a classic blue dress, matching bows and black shoes.
As seen in the enchanting pictures, Romano and Rooney’s backyard in Orange County, California, was filled withgorgeous flowerscovering the table and an arch ofpastel balloons, varying from orange to blue.

The formerKim Possiblevoice actress was vigilant about the details with adorable touches, like providing kids and adults “Piglet’s Punch” and “Rabbit’s Veggie Soup.”
The buffet was even lined with white frames featuring images of the characters and inspirational quotes from the book like, “I think we dream so we don’t have to be apart so long.”
As the star reflects on the special soirée, she tells PEOPLE, “Everyone old and young had fun and the day was magical. No Heffalumps in sight!”
