The Desert House — designed by Ken Kellogg and located in the Joshua Tree National Park — look like a retro futuristic science fiction set outdoors . Inside it is the form of position I imagine as Khaleesi ’s holiday plate , where she goes to cool down out with her Dragon . I desire to call this style outer space age mediaeval futurism .
And she would chillax indeed — even while the $ 3,000,000 rest home is in the desert , it seems quite tonic and well-fixed in spite of appearance . Here ’s the official description :
The Desert House : The most important architectural firm you may have never visualize . It is physically of the desert , a part of its environs . The strength of the hard and rugged protective shell outside is drawn from the desert . The interior is a warm knowledgeable space of hang organic shapes wrap up gently around its inhabitants . Light enters through continuous opening that severalize the towering concrete dialog box . The textures allow for the touch and palpate of the desert as materials were meticulously choose from the desert . The holding highlights the masculine and womanly forms that are the hallmark of organic computer architecture .
