Matt Bettinelli - Olpin : We say that 90 % of directing , especially this type of movie , is just getting good actors . We did n’t couch people who can trifle reference , we cast people who are the faithful bringing close together to the character that ’s on the page . A lot of that was us being comfortable , and the studio being comfortable with these worker coming in and rewriting the script . Not rewriting the storey , but approaching aim of the scenes in a way that ’s really literal and raw to them .
