Hulu has released the first puzzle trailer for The Handmaid ’s Tale , the 10 - episode version of Margaret Atwood ’s dystopian novel . In just 30 second , it says everything about what a beautiful nightmare this series will be .

Elisabeth Moss stars as Offred , a fair sex struggling to survive in an oppressive , simplify company where she ’s used for her fertility to aid re - population crusade . But it ’s not just about the earth she ’s in , but also the world she ’s from . The first preview register that we ’ll get a face at Offred ’s past times , and how it will mold her future . She was a fighter , and she will continue fight down to be reunited with her family .

The visuals look gorgeous but gruesome , include a harrowing flavour at Alexis Bledel ’s case in a face gag . Tiny downgrade for the Offred whip picture , though , as that matter was nowhere near her brass .
