Before dating Hoffman, Windey ended her 2022 season ofThe BacheloretteengagedtoErich Schwer, but they latercalled it quitsthat November.
During an appearance onThe Viewthis summer, Windeyannounced her new relationship.
“I always just want to live my truth, and my story,” she said on the show. “And so I have been seeing someone for a couple months, and I’ve been keeping it a little more private because it is like a bigger story and a bigger conversation, because I’m dating a girl!”
Windey later went Instagram official with Hoffman, sharing a collection of photos of them together with the cheeky caption, “Told you I’m a girls girl!!”
Continuing to speak with PEOPLE, Windey said she is excited to keep up with theBachelorfranchise, particularly the upcomingGolden Bachelor, which will star72-year-old Gerry Turner.
“I’ll be paying close attention. I feel like everyone’s really excited to watch, and we’re right along there with them,” she said.
“I think it’ll be interesting to watch,” added Windey. “I mean, I get nervous for all the old women and the drama, but other than that, I think it’s something we’ve never seen before, which is why people are so excited.”
The Golden Bachelorpremieres Sept. 28 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
