Hugh Jackmanis throwing it back on his birthday!
In the 1980s image — where Jackman said he “was maybe 17” years old — the then-future actor wore a light-colored suit as he stood outside amid a grassy landscape, pulling a hilarious (and not-entirely-unlike-Wolverine!) face at the camera.
“I was the assistant (to the assistant) of the footy team.#throwbackthursday,” Jackman recalled in the caption.

Jackman’s post came the came morning he was spotted out and about on a walk with palsRyan ReynoldsandBlake Livelyin New York City.
Jackman previously joined the couple to watch theKansas City Chiefs take on the New York Jetsin New Jersey earlier this month, alongside Lively’s friendTaylor Swift.

While the mutual decision was amicable, a source close to the pair told PEOPLE in September that they are “devastated” and that the split is “very hard” for them.
“Itwas not a snap decision— they took a lot of time and consideration of everything, and they made this decision together,” the insider added. “They are going on separate journeys, but they will always be a family. They’ll always be co-parents and best friends.”
As their relationship begins a new chapter, the source said there’s no acrimony between Hugh and Deb, 67, whoshare two children: son Oscar, 23, and daughter Ava, 18.
“This has nothing to do with anything other than the fact that they’re on different journeys right now,” said the source.
