The family of missing girlCharlotte Senais speaking out as the search for her continues in Upstate New York.
On Sunday, New York State Police issued anAMBER Alertfor Charlotte, 9, after she was last seen around 6:45 p.m. Saturday near Moreau Lake State Park in Gansevoort, N.Y., about 45 miles north of Albany.
Police said Sena “was taken under circumstances that lead police to believe that they are in imminent danger of serious harm and/or death.”
At a press conference on Sunday, New York State Gov. Kathy Hochul said the girl was camping with her family in the area and disappeared after going on a bike ride.
But after 15 minutes, Hochul said Charlotte was nowhere to be found. However, her bike was found, but it is unclear who located it, reportedFox News.
Speaking withTimes-Unionon Monday, Charlotte’s mother, Trisha Sena, described her daughter as a “good kid.”
“I just want my daughter back,” she told the outlet.
After the girl’s family and other campers joined in the search calling out her name, Hochul said Charlotte’s mother Tricia called 911 and New York State Police arrived around 15 minutes later.
Hochul told reporters Sunday there were “over 100 personnel deployed and 75 law enforcement on the ground” working to find Charlotte.
Those involved in the search include NYSP K-9s and bloodhounds, Moreau Lake State Park forest rangers, six underwater rescue teams, two drones, an airboat, a Sonar boat and technology experts to “analyze other forms of communications in the park.”

“Hearts are broken here today in New York. Hopefully there’ll be a reunion,” Hochul said at the press conference. “Hopefully they’ll be a family that has been traumatized, but as reunited. That is our prayer and our hope at this time.”
