Meri Brown Says There’s ‘So Much More to the Story’ Ahead of Sister Wives Season 17 Premiere

Meri Brownis teasing that there’s lots more to discover about her family.

There’s no telling what the message from theSister Wiveslead means — though fans of the show have had lots of guesses.

“Pleeeaaassseeee tell us you left Kody!!!!” one commenter wrote about the enticing prospect that Meri may have left her plural marriage toKody Brown.

“Oohhhh I hope you left Cody!!!!” added another. “You deserve someone who loves you!!”

Others questioned if Meri could instead be writing a tell-all book about her off-screen life.

A fourth wife,Christine Brown,left the plural marriageto Kody in November 2021, and season 17 ofSister Wiveswill focus largely on her decision to go. The show’s trailer features Christine packing her car and the rest of the family scrambling to put their lives back together in her absence.

“I felt like Christine was more than a sister wife,” a tearful Meri says about Christine’s decision to leave in theseason 17 trailer. “I felt like she was a friend for a lot of years.”

The new season ofSister Wiveswill premiere on Sept. 11 at 10:00 p.m. ET on TLC.
