Princess Madeleineof Sweden is celebrating her mother on her special day!
The Swedish royal, 41, shared apost on InstagramSaturday to celebrateQueen Silvia’s milestone 80th birthday.
In the image, Queen Silvia could be seen at her palace, blowing out candles on a large two-tiered pink cake as several of her grandchildren surrounded her.
The kids featured in the photograph wore golden pointy birthday hats as they gathered in a half-circle around the table in formal wear. Queen Silvia, meanwhile, could be seen wearing a black jacket and slacks with a red top.

“Wishing Mamma and ‘Mormor’ a happy happy birthday! 🥳❤️🥳,” Princess Madeleine wrote in her caption.
The video then cut to a surprised Queen Silvia, who walked through the door to find her grandchildren around her birthday cake, clapping for her as she made her way to the table.
The video was captioned, “Grattis på 80-årsdagen, Mormor/Farmor! 💓,” which translates to “Happy 80th birthday, Grandma!”

The milestone event is another big celebration for the Swedish royals after King Carl XVI Gustaf, Sweden’s longest-reigning monarch,celebrated his 50th yearon the throne in early 2023.
