The former football WAG confirmed her split from the Kansas City Chiefs defensive tackle on Thursday, March 13, shortly after he shared aPDA-filled postwith a different woman on Instagram.
“I’m choosing to focus on the positive as I close this chapter on a 9-year relationship,” her statement began. “Unfortunately, Chris' infidelity […] led to my decision to end our relationship months ago,” she alleged.
She concluded, “As I embark on this new chapter, I’m excited for the opportunities and growth that await me. I trust that God will transform the pain into something beautiful.”
Jones did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.

“I will not be traveling to the Steelers game as I am hosting both Chris and I’s families in KC but we will be rooting for him at home during our viewing Christmas Party,” she told PEOPLE at the time. “We’ll be waiting to spend time with him when he flies home after the game.”
The former couple welcomed their first child together, Christopher Jones II, affectionately known as Deuce, in 2018. They welcomed another son, Carson Dakota Jones, in 2022.
