TheGriseldaactress, 52, and the Formula One driver, 40, were photographed after an hours-long lunch in New York City on Tuesday, Jan. 14.
The Golden Globe nominee stepped out in oversized dark-wash jeans, a black blouse and a cream trench coat, while the athlete wore a pair of light-wash oversized jeans, a brown flannel and a brown suede blouson jacket, topping off his look with a fur brown bucket hat.
Representatives for Vergara and Hamilton did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment. However,TMZandUs Weeklyare reporting that it was not a romantic date, but a casual lunch with friends.
